Interpretive Specialist

The Upper Valley Regional Park Authority is currently accepting applications for the position of Interpretive Specialist at Grand Caverns Regional Park.

Responsibilities include: leading educational tours of Grand Caverns for a variety of individuals and groups (including school classes, civic organizations, and international tourists); assisting in the daily operation of the park’s Gift Shop and “Living Cave” Exhibit; maintaining a high level of interaction with park visitors and tourists; completing light housekeeping tasks for the Gift Shop and Exhibit (dusting, sweeping, mopping)

Preferred applicants will have a high school diploma/equivalent G.E.D or 6 months of previous experience in the interpretive field.

This is a seasonal position with a competitive, established wage scale. Opportunities do exist for weekday and/or weekend hours.
